Update:

An Inspiring Evening of Brotherhood at Carmel Lodge 421!

In an evening that truly exemplified the spirit of brotherhood and commitment, Carmel Lodge 421, along with brethren from six other lodges, welcomed our newest members into the fraternity with a memorable Entered Apprentice degree. This gathering was not just a routine ceremony; it was a profound demonstration of the values and traditions that bind us together as Masons.

The evening was marked by notable contributions from several esteemed brethren. Leading the main section of the degree with grace and expertise was Mark Higgins, PM, who performed the Master’s duties. His command of the ceremony and dedication to the craft set a high standard for all present.

The first lecture was delivered by Ron De Leon and Michel Salhoum, whose combined efforts provided the new initiates with a deep understanding of the teachings and symbolism of our fraternity. Their eloquence and knowledge were evident, leaving a lasting impression on the new brothers.

Guilherme Salome and Neil Anger, PM, took charge of the second lecture, further enriching the initiates’ experience with their insights and profound understanding of Masonic principles. Their contribution was pivotal in ensuring that the new members received a comprehensive and inspiring introduction to their Masonic journey.

The third section of the degree was masterfully handled by the dynamic duo of Neil Anger, PM, and Merle Kranning. Their synergy and dedication to the ritual were palpable, making this segment of the ceremony both engaging and enlightening.

So many officers and lodge helpers worked hard to make this a fantastic evening, however a special mention goes to Merle Kranning, who not only played a key role in the third section but also opened and closed the lodge, and provided an outstanding dinner and dessert to start the evening on a high note. His culinary skills and generosity were greatly appreciated by all, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the night.

Throughout the evening, Carmel 421’s Worshipful Master Wayne Hansen, as always, was ever-present, ensuring his team performed at the highest level. WM Hansen’s knack for running a smooth operation is certainly evident this year, contributing significantly to the success of the event, and the banner year Carmel #421 is currently experiencing.

As we reflect on this successful initiation, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed and participated. We invite all brethren to join us for our upcoming Fellow Craft Degree on July 25th. Let us continue to strengthen our bonds of brotherhood and commitment to the principles of Freemasonry.
