Above: Carmel Lodge #421 brethren enjoy a social night at Woodland Bowl, Carmel, IN on 3/23/23.
Hey there, Freemasons and wannabes! If you want to strengthen your brotherhood, you have got to attend a social night! And what better way to do that than to hit up the bowling alley with your Masonic brothers…
I mean, sure, we all love our families and our jobs and whatnot, but sometimes you just need a break, am I right? And what’s more fun than grabbing some pizza, cracking open a cold one, and knocking down some pins with your best buds?
Picture this: you and your Masonic brothers, decked out in matching bowling shirts (optional, but highly recommended), competing for bragging rights and having a blast. It’s like a little slice of heaven, if you ask me. Plus, it’s a great way to get to know your fellow Masons on a deeper level, and maybe even forge some lifelong friendships.
So don’t be shy, Freemasons (and wannabe Masons), lace up those rental shoes and let loose! Whether you’re a pro or a newbie, a bowling trip is the perfect way to let off some steam and strengthen your bond with your brothers. And who knows, you might even learn something new about yourself or your fellow Masons along the way.
So what are you waiting for?
– the next time you hear about a lodge social (or a lodge bowling social – check our Trestle Board/Calendar), roll on down to the restaurant, pub, or bowling alley, grab some grub, and let the good times roll!
Hey, have you heard that you don't need to be a Mason to come along to our social events? It's true! Whether you're curious about Masonry or considering becoming a member, you're more than welcome to join us for any of our social nights or meeting dinners run from 6pm to 7pm before our Thursday meetings at the lodge). We've got a fantastic group of Masons who would love to get to know you! There's no need to let us know in advance, but if you want to RSVP, just drop a note to our lodge Secretary via our lodge contact form.
To see when our next lodge social is, check out our lodge calendar (aka "Trestle Board") to see our activity schedule.
What Is Freemasonry?
Fellowship
By attending Masonic Lodge meetings and learning from your fellow Masons, you’ll strengthen the bonds of fellowship as you join together with like-minded men who share ideals of both a moral and metaphysical nature. There are Masonic lodges on every continent on Earth, and in almost every nation. You’ll enjoy the friendship of other Masons in the community, and you’ll be welcomed as a “Brother” by Masons everywhere in the world. Freemasonry also promises that should you ever be overtaken by misfortune, sickness, or adversity through no fault of your own, the hands of our great fraternity will be stretched forth to aid and assist you.
