On Thursday, July 25th, 2024, Carmel Lodge #421 hosted a memorable Fellow Craft Degree that embodied the spirit of Masonic fellowship and dedication. Presided over by Senior Warden Herb Reynolds acting as WM, the event brought together members and guests in a night filled with tradition and camaraderie.

The lodge warmly welcomed five guests from various Indiana lodges and one from Illinois, adding a delightful mix of perspectives and experiences to the gathering.

Degree work was meticulously conducted by Herb Reynolds and accentuated by work completed by Mike Power, PM, and Pat Gleason, PM, whose expertise ensured the ritual was performed with precision and respect. Junior Deacon Cesar Garcia stepped up to cover Senior Deacon duties, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to the lodge’s needs.

Jackson Kisor and Tyler Curtis delivered the 3rd lecture, marking their debut in this role. Their effort showcased the promising new talent within the lodge, signaling a bright future ahead.

A wonderful presentation of “The Letter G Poem” by Fred Golgart, PM, from New Palestine Lodge, who was honored as the 2023 Secretary of the Year. His presentation set a thoughtful tone for the ceremony.

Junior Warden Merle Kranning provided a delicious stir fry dinner, offering choices of chicken or beef, accompanied by a fresh salad and a delectable dessert. The meal was well-received, providing nourishment and an opportunity for fellowship among the attendees.

Overall, the Fellow Craft Degree at Carmel #421 was a harmonious blend of ritual, learning, and fellowship. Each participant, from the seasoned Past Masters to the rising new members, contributed to a memorable evening that celebrated the shared values and brotherhood of Freemasonry.

Brethren, you are cordially invited to witness the conferring of the Fellow Craft degree upon a worthy candidate.

When: Thursday, July 25, 2023 : Degree Work @ 7:00 pm. (dinner at 6pm at the lodge before the degree)

Please dress in attire appropriate for the solemnity that accompanies a degree night, You must be an FC, or MM to attend the degree work. 

*Your friends and guests are welcome to attend our dinner and/or socials after the degree work.  This will also give us the opportunity to share good food, good fellowship and with your help; to introduce our beloved Craft to non-Masons and potential good candidates for Masonry.

Great Masonic Lodge to be a part of. Lots of great people and community activities. Highly recommend the pancake breakfast, a favorite activity for my kids.
